THREE-RIB DRILL COLLAR

The "core load-bearing and drilling-stabilizing component" of the drilling string. Forged from high-strength alloy steel, it features three evenly distributed rigid ribs on its outer wall, combining high specific gravity (to provide sufficient weight on bit) and torsional resistance.

During operation, the ribs reduce the contact area between the drill collar and the wellbore wall, lowering frictional resistance; at the same time, they enhance the centralizing effect on the drill string, minimizing wellbore trajectory deviation. It is suitable for vertical wells, directional wells, and horizontal wells, resistant to high pressure and high temperature (≤150MPa/-40℃~200℃), and can effectively transmit torque and protect drilling tools. It is a key accessory for ensuring efficient drilling of deep wells and ultra-deep wells.
