Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM): Both stator and rotor adopt salient‑pole structure. The rotor has no permanent magnets or windings. Torque is generated based on the principle of minimum magnetic reluctance, and the motor must be driven by a matched controller. It features simple and robust structure, low cost, wide speed‑regulation range, high temperature resistance and high‑speed capability. However, it suffers from relatively large torque ripple and noise, and is mostly applied in variable‑speed scenarios requiring high reliability.
